Now this-this-is-one-a-dem-occasions when you just hafta ask fella bees.

We have been looking on a very popular auction site, yes we have, and we were rather pleased at the cost of glassware, yes we were.

But we were wondering how *safe* this most popular auction site would bee for us to order from?

Yes - we are no strangers to drop sites - and we are learning the beautiful benefits of proxie servers, but sadly have not found a very reliable one as of yet.

We have one more question yet, not sure if it should have it's own thread, but anyway....

We called up a supplier in California (we do not currently reside there) and they said that for order >$100 they are required to take some info, is this state law (assumed), federal, or just shop specific?

Yes, that was these bee's first thoughts, but when we asked the store salesperson, we realized that we would get raped hardcore by shipping cost on each, individual, item.

I've been daydreaming about using auction sites..actually methods of drop-offs in general aswell (in the event I decided to order chems and other stuff)

How would this work... SWIM asks a trusted someone if he'd accept an order of say glassware. Then I tell him...look its best if you ask few questions about why, but you won't be/or have done anything illegal at any point, mint?...he agrees; at the same point I tell him thanks get back to me as soon as it arrives and ill pick it up off ya buddy!(an organised meeting may be nicer?)! oh and btw, there's one more thing...if some utter bushpigs happen to suspect you of any wrong doing, just let me know, and if you have to... SHIFT THE BLAME TO YOUR PAL - ME - TELL THEM THE TRUTH....However BEFORE you do that, send me a msg(secret one word msg or something like "the"), which means we meet for you to fill me in/confirm that the truth is gonna come out before the bushpigs know about it...at which point I have time to make the evidence disappear and come up with excuses/bullshit/plans!. cool

Hows that? coolsmile

The guy next door tells me that he has recieved glassware as well as I2 and RP in times past from the online and assured me that as long as it is from an individual and they will accept a money order via mail that it shouldnt raise any more eyebrows than the other dude across the streets porno tapes and toys,,,, anyway, its probly as safe as going to walys and buying 2 boxes of antihistamines and or a pack of coffee filters.

I was sure I clicked post...but obviously not. Fucking H a t e that...

In any case, I basically said word to noj, but that I wouldn't trust customs to NOT phone or notice the police if any nice glassware had passed through...or at least I wouldn't leave it to chance. Bringing someone else into the equation IS a bad idea your right, but they can't divulge what they don't have insight into. All the person will know is that I asked them to receive sWIMs vases and herbs.

as for auction sites, I'd use them before I used an online chemical supply store, but the fact still remains, they'll pass through customs, if it's any kind of powder, it WILL be opened coming into OZ (oh yeah forgot to tell ya I'm an ozbee - paranoid, see...I can't feel safe saying what country I'm from while speaking freely, top world huh..glad to have it off my chest though)

Anyway, customs has put down since 11th of september, I definetly can't see RP just being checked and passed through  if it isn't headed for a match company, and I definetly wouldn't lend my liberty and free will to the idea...crazy

Maybe I could find a nice auction site divided into regions. The international goldmine of ripsnorter toys is attractive...But ahh customs are quasi swine unfortunetly, ill work around the saddist fuckheads. winkcool

That is some kind of bullshit CA state law. You'd think that since you were ordering from OUT of state, it should not apply to you. You might want to ask them about that (if you can bring it up in a casual, non-sketchy way).

Buster - The salesman that we spoke to was nice enough, but we're a little antsy about calling back though.

And about the RP thru auction sites, we think we can remember reading a little about this a while ago, and that it was mainly deemed a bad dream. However, SWIA has purchased I2 thru a fellow he was introducted to thru and auction site. SWIA simply sent this nice chap an e-mail, this chap stated that he could cancel the auction if SWIA would pay him $10, which - let us tell you - was still not a bad price for the amount of I2 we were purchasing. We felt that the beauty of this purchase was that is was not done thru the auction site, so it was just one last record of the sale.

There's one small company that has a lot of auctions. Anything from pH paper to flasks to scales and thermometers. They also have a site if anybody wants it just pm me. And if shipping within the US they don't list the contents of the package.

most companies like that don't have to list the package.  The name of the sender on the outside of the box says it all.

Once again, that "certain auction site" is less than secure for bees, because we continue to post about it ON A WEEKLY BASIS.  Lets just say, that smaller glassware (less than 5 litres If I'm not mistaken) is not watched, or illegal in anyway, period, and will not get much attention UNLESS, you buy it along with a few litres of sass, and that once in a lifetime sodium borohydride auction.  Besides, you might as well come out and say E**Y, because everyone knows what site you are refering to, to include the pigs.

Yeah the auction site is pretty safe, glassware goes through customs like greased lightning, but don't bee like the idiots I've seen that have a history of glassware and then sassy, and maybe a TSII book, on top of it all.

Or the one Bee that uses his Hive username as his auction username, and has a list of yummy glass a mile long in his history, that is just dumb!!

If you order anything ups I guarantee it wont get checked. A friend of mine used to work for ups he said trucks would show up that reeked like herb. This friend could never figure out what package it was but knew it was there. It drove him nuts he said it happened all the time. Management apparently doesn’t give a fuck.
