|3-phenylpropyl chloride a la KrZ???||Bookmark|
Breathing some life into an old process, have any bees tried KrZ's dehydrohalogenation of 3-phenylpropyl chloride to allylbenzene?
(NEVERMIND that second step, just the first one is of interst)
1-chloro-3-phenylpropane is pretty hard to come by stuff, rare, and while not watched, one might received some scrutiny from sources with scrupulous eyes. Other than that it can be had pretty easily.
The process seems pretty simple to my eyes (with no formal chem education). http://www.chem.ucalgary.ca/courses/351/
Any input on this process?
Thanks a ton (of honey)!
Can a bee be visa vis its entity when half a bee philosophically must ipso facto half not be?
