this preparation is a seemingly endless circle of chlorine dioxide and sodium chlorite - one but not before the other fuck

anyone got a lead on starting with something other than ClO2 and obtaining NaClO2.

is there some way of doing something like this

NaCl   ==>    NaClO3  ==>  NaClO2

the correct answer is yes its like this dumbass.

Yes, this is the formula for sodium hypochlorite. It is unstable so you won't find it in pure form.

Baseline Does Not Exist.

thanks -----not wanting to do too much conversation with myself.

but this came up as a industrial methodology to the problem

NaClO3 ==> ClO2 ==> NaClO2

still having to deal with the chlorine dioxide (poinsonous gas) but seems likely to be a closed in situ type system.
